Environmental Policy
As the industry leader, EnerSystem has the compromise to operate its Environmental Management System with responsibility, and has assumed in his Environmental Policy that environment protection is of outstanding importance for the company’s and society’s progress and development. For this reason, our compromise is to pursue that all our activities will be performed with environmental responsibility, in accord to the following principles:
We shall consider the rational use of natural resources, environmental pollution prevention and adequate management of generated waste in all our activities. We shall strictly follow the environmental legislation applying to the company’s activity and all other environmental standards to which we have voluntarily adhered We shall establish company appropriated environmental objectives and goals, securing environmental performance continuous improvement and considering all stakeholders opinion. We shall provide necessary resources and training to all our employees, suppliers and contractors, so that they shall be always aware of the environmental impact their activities can produce. We shall provide our customers with the appropriate information to use our products without any negative impact on the environment. EnerSystem assigns all necessary resources to minimize the environmental impact of its operations, and takes pro-active actions to protect the environment. We’re proud of doing our part. Battery customers also have some duties. The most important, is understanding inadequate handling or incorrect treatment of a battery, at the end of its useful life, may lead to potential environmental damage. Working together, we can assure battery treatment will be the appropriate. Enersystem and its customers share something very important: our dependence on earth as the place we and future generations will continue enjoying a healthy life.
